DREAMS OF OUR FOREFATHERS
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
This is the actual text from the Declaration of Independence. In the second paragraph, our forefathers called upon us on that day, to eternally defend her entire body by peaceable means that we have at our disposal.
It was a message from the grave of our forefathers, to unknown future generations. It is a now warning to us, that from time to time, the people of America would be called on to defend these words and ideas they had written.
They prophesied these threats from unknown sources, which they could only prepare us for. They gave us the legal right and responsibility to peaceably engage these threats, hundreds of years ago. Thomas Jefferson and his solidarity are now brought alive again by our actions.They will fight with us, side by side to get us through this time of trial. We don't need weapons, we need only their words. We don't need bullets, we have technology.
These same words of the Declaration of Independence were used to end the tyranny of the British, on July 4, 1776. Today, that document will be used again. It will be used by another Tea Party, in a new age, to reset the standard of freedom for America, as our founding fathers knew it would, from where they now rest.
It is hard to believe that this is the time and this is the here and now, but it is. It is hard to believe that we are the second congress to do exactly what we must, but we are. Our forefathers are speaking to us again, and we must listen, before their words can speak no more. For as long as we have freedom, and we can fight, their blood runs again, but now through our veins.
According to our forefathers, this is not an optional duty. The Declaration of Independence states that the right of the people means all the people, and all of us, have a duty to protect the words our forefathers crafted that made us the most powerful, solitary protector of freedom and capitalism in the world.
What is it that we must do? It's simple. Just help each other to be successful, help each other to be educated and tell everyone about the freedom and the founding of America.
We must demand our elected politicians represent the people according to the Constitution, without sacrifice and without regret. We must all do our job using the words of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to peacefully demand that we return to our principles and constitutional ideals.
Now let's get started with a new America, same as the old America.
